OK, so this doen't make a whole lot of sense. The Wii and DS already have wireless built-in, so why would this device be needed? The only thing I can think of would be to make accessing a wireless network with your Nintendo product easier--not that it's incredibly difficult currently.

Currently this is being planned for release in Japan only.
